LONG MARTON Village Institute

The building has been serving the local community since 1893 & looks to continue this tradition.

We have a Safeguarding Policy & Equal Opportunities Policy; to view please click on each one.

The work of the Institute, which is a registered Charity, is run by a Management Committee, but we urgently need new members. We could also run more activities if we had more volunteers. What about you?

Just a few hours a month is all it takes, & your efforts will be rewarded as more people use the Institute.

For instance, the very popular Lunch Club, run twice a month on a Wednesday with the help of the school, needs more volunteers to serve meals or wash-up. Also, we could run more coffee mornings if we had more help.

You can hire a hall or the whole building for your party or dance, talk, exhibition or sale. Contact the Booking Secretary, Anne Perry on 017683 61158. If you have ideas for using the building, starting a new activity, or reviving an old one, we want to hear from you.

The Institute belongs to the village, & is open to everyone
